A new site for Chiltern, the site provides hardstanding for 20+ vans with the possibility of more space for a future rally. There is a large hall with kitchen and toilet facilities, the ideal site for a winter rally. In all we had 22 vans including 2 visitors.
We were welcomed on Friday by the hosts Ian & Wendy assisted by Purple Martin, Noreen and not forgetting Robin on parking duty.
Saturday started with a table tennis competition in the morning. The table was outside but under cover and in the autumn sun was a great start to the day. After many games the final between Martin and Tina was a close match won by Martin, it was probably the hair that put Tina off her game.
Saturday afternoon we had full use of the hall for a variety of games including giant Jenga, bean bag bowls, roll the coin at the bottle and much more, with tea and biscuits available this was the place to be.
The evening started with more games a picture quiz and raffle, Noreen must of been rubbing the lucky tree as she seemed to win almost everything.
A relaxed Sunday morning walk into Biggleswade for many, where you really are spoilt for shops and pubs, a great end to a great weekend.
I am sure I speak for everyone that this was a great rally.
