Cuckoos and curlews, paddling of canoes or the chug of a canal boat engine – these background sounds all added to the pleasure we had from attending the rally at Friars Court. 12 motohomes- all Chiltern – had lots of laughter from our own comedian, along with cycling, walking and generally relaxing beside the river Thames . We also had “David Bailey” with his camera photographing the birds of the feathered variety. Some of us also enjoyed visiting the Old Swan pub which dates back to Cromwell’s days. So nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Thank you Mick and Julie for a wonderful May bank holiday weekend.
