A total of 4 vans (all Chiltern) attended the rally which was on a nice site close to the Grand Union canal. Pete and Shirley were our lovely hosts for the weekend.
Friday evening saw us all gathered in the shelter where we took part in a few short quizzes kindly prepared by our hosts.
Saturday morning 6 of us set off for a walk along the canal where we were asked to help the police with their enquiries with a local lady who had gone missing. Our walk led us to The Three Locks pub where we enjoyed a pub lunch. On our return to the site we had surprise visits from our ex president, Del and his good lady Bet followed later by our rally officer, Martin. Saturday evening we met in the shelter for a couple of hours before everyone helped to dismantle the shelter prior to the arrival of the forecasted rain.
A good weekend was had by all..
