White Mark Farm, Watlington

Our first July rally was held at an old favourite – White Mark Farm, Watlington. We had some sunshine on arrival and it was lovely to sit outside or to wander among the vans for a good catch-up with friends. In the evening MIck entertained us with a couple of quizzes and many sat outside until well after dark.

The forecast for Saturday was quite grim but luckily it turned out to be incorrect apart from a few sharp showers. The highlight of the weekend was feeding the resident Red Kites. These are magnificent birds and seeing them swooping across
the field to pick up the meat was a fabulous sight. During the afternoon some members walked to the local village while others relaxed. In the evening most of us were closeted in our vans watching England beat Ukraine!

Sunday morning saw the first coffee morning of the season where MIck talked about the next few rallies.
