Good to see so many people – 19 vans in total of which 16 were Chiltern, joined by 2 visitors from Severn Valley and 1 from East Midlands. We arrived on Friday having travelled through rough windy weather that persisted over night and into Saturday. Fortunately the site offered us the use of their large gazebo in which to socialize our usual ‘get together’ and catch up. We were made welcome by the café owner on Saturday night and enjoyed a lovely preordered meal. Well done to them for getting the orders right and serving us all on time! We gathered once again in the gazebo and were challenged to more interesting and different quizzes from Pearl as well as the raffle. Thanks to all who contributed. We were wakened on Sunday to the alarm call from the resident peacock. During ‘coffee’ we were reminded of the excellent charity “Brave the Shave’ in which Alana took part. She thanked everyone for their support.
Thank you to Robin, Pearl and family. Once again well done. Your hard work to ensure we were kept busy and entertained were greatly appreciated.
A return visit is planned for next year.
