36 vans attended the Holiday Rally at Brixham. We started the week with glorious weather, but the wind and rain also played their part. Walks, cycle rides, boat trips and bus rides were popular activities. We had use of the Rugby Club bar and a function room during the evenings. A group cream tea was enjoyed at the Berry Head Hotel one afternoon, compliments of Chiltern Group.
It was great that members of various Groups contributed to the evenings entertainment – it proves that its the members who make the rallies! Morris dancing from Essex, and the Anglia and Chiltern Choirs showcased their talents. All the right notes – but not necessarily in the right order!! Great sports and loads of fun. Must do it again sometime……watch this space!
